Video generation
Describe a clip in plain words, pick a length and a shape, and get back a finished video file. OmevAI improves your prompt and chooses the best way to generate it; you choose only the product, the duration and the aspect ratio. The price is shown before you start, and you pay only for a video that is actually delivered.
This page describes video generation in the web cabinet at cabinet.omev.be. The same models are available to applications through the Video generation API.
The Video tab appears in Chat only for accounts where video generation is enabled. To enable it, contact support@omev.be.

Every requested second is paid: an 8-second Video clip in 720p is 8 × $0.069 = $0.552, in 1080p $1.08.
Make a video
- Open Chat and select the Video tab.
- Describe the clip in the text field. Say what happens, who or what is in the frame, the setting and the camera movement.
- In Video settings, choose the Model, the Duration, s, the Aspect and, for Video and Video Premium, the Resolution.
- Optionally add a First frame image URL (all products), or, for Video Premium, up to
5 Reference image URLs for a character, product, logo or style. Use one or the
other: a first frame and references cannot be combined. Links must be public
http(s)addresses. - Check the Price and select Generate, then Confirm. If the price changed since you opened the form, the cabinet shows the new amount and asks you to confirm it again.
The amount is reserved on your balance when you confirm. The clip appears in the feed with its status: Queued, Preparing the prompt, Generating, then Completed or Unsuccessful. You can leave the page; a notice appears when the video is ready.
You can have up to 2 unfinished videos at a time.
When you pay

If the connection drops while you confirm, retrying is safe: it cannot create a second charge.
History, download and feedback
Open History to see your videos. For each finished clip you can:
- Download the file. Files are kept for 30 days; save the ones you need.
- Regenerate: start a new generation with the same inputs. It is a new paid video and shows its price before you confirm.
- Rate it Good or Needs improvement and say what went wrong: prompt not followed, motion, character or product consistency, visual quality, audio or other. Ratings help us improve results; they do not change the charge.
What cannot be generated
Requests that break the content policy are refused before any charge, including sexual or pornographic content and any sexual content involving minors or people of unclear age. A refused request shows the reason in the feed.
There is not enough balance for this generation means the reserved amount would exceed your remaining credit: top up in Billing and try again.
